Interpretations

Interpretations
2019-07-20 Unknown Author

Further study indicated that this layer of rubble likely represents further collapse of the remaining Tincu house construction material, or dumping of material following the abandonment of the house.

Unknown Date Unknown Author

Layer of collapse comprising mainly irregular tufo blocks, and occasional fragments of basalt. Blocks all unworked, showing no sign of facing. Same phase of collapse/redeposition as SU1040? No evidence of mortar inclusions within silt matrix or adhering to blocks - so not thought to derive from (platform) SU1039 located to east.
