This large silty layer covers approximately the entire eastern half of Area B. The wide chronological range of the ceramics and their poor condition suggests that this is a layer of naturally accumulated colluvium, into which the first burials for the Area B necropolis were cut. The distinction between these large colluvial layer and SU1016 is not always clear.
