Natural colluvial deposit over quarry fill. The silt has been truncated to the south by our exploratory backhoe trench; the soil to the south of this trench (thus far unexcavated) appears similar and probably represents the same SU. Our northern limit is the limit of excavation. Excavation was halted as the large size of the layer become apparent, in the interest of time.
