This SU is one of two elongated piles of rubble (see also SU1056) which look like they are rough walls which have collapsed that do not belong to the Tincu house. This SU has more irregularly-sized and shaped stones and mortar -- the feature has more stones concentrated in a spine down its center as though the wall slowly tumbled down over time. It is unclear what the function of the wall might have been: it may have delineated the edge of the quarry to the east of it or defined the area to the west which would see the burial of the first series of burials of a new necropolis.

Unknown Date Unknown Author

This layer seems to be the collapse of a possible wall, the wall structure itself is not visible, but the stones (ranging from small pebbles to medium sized rocks) seem to be located just on the surface of the underlying deposit, with significant regions of pottery fragments possibly indicating the existence of a wall.
