2019-07-17 Unknown Author

One of several large colluvial layer that accumulated naturally after the abandonment of the house. The silty nature of the layer, limited ceramics, mixed chronology of the artifacts present, and the small sherds sizes suggest that it accumulated naturally, rather than being dumped.

Unknown Date Unknown Author

Silty deposit, which predates the quarry all along the eastern limit of 1403. Wall SU 1031 seems to curve slightly. Very silty, suggesting natural deposition, perhaps after the abandonment of the area and before the quarrying. the deposit seems to have been cut into also on the east, for the construction of the road wall (SU 1031).
