Rubble fill from a robbing trench that continues south (SU 2254) of the ditch (SU 2206). Probably post dates the rubble wall (SU 2216) on its western side and when robbed, the rubble wall partially collapsed into the trench. Similar situation with SU 2223 collapsing into SU 2254 south of drainage trench (SU 2206). Excavation halted on July 19th 2011 as there was danger to the plaster lining of neighboring room of house with pavement (SU 2214). Further excavation would have endangered its stability. Fill of robbing cut above 2033.
