During post-excavation study, this feature (2394/2514) was reinterpreted as a linear stone feature that is one of the earliest built features post-dating Gabii's urban grid. SU 2394/2514 runs parallel to SU 2398/2513, and appears to be a continuation of SU 2497's southern extension.

Linear deposit of stones associated with a similar deposit SU 2393. These stones are likely related to the construction/drainage of the later cocciopesto floor of the later Republican phase of the house. They appear to continue into the preserved section of floor surface to the East.
