This layer is the fill of a fire pit cut, evident from the high proportion of burnt material present. Burnt clay belonging to some type of construction most likely a cooking contraption, was present but highly disturbed. A truncated vessel was found in the center of the SU. This vessel most likely served as a cookery stand with the fire pit. Charcoal and ash, also associated with activity, were found in the fill.
