A fairly compact brown layer with small tufa inclusions in the area of the road, directly north of where the basal paving stones disappear in south part of Area E. Directly underneath this layer several tufa inclusions became prominent, which most likely indicates a preparation layer or destruction level for the road. It appears to be an accumulation layer which has covered and comingled with the possible road preparation layer underneath it.
