This wall is clearly partly put out of use by the construction of tufo slab floor 7320, which covers its eastern extent. Its alignment with the transition/interface between ashlar walls 7321 and 7322 to the east might be significant in reconstructing the original appearance of this space and the development of the access into it from the east (i.e. through an original opening in wall 7078/7322, later plugged by 7321).
7378 seems to be continuation of 7377, also got shaved vertically by backhoe in former excavation, only one course, and the bottom sits roughly at the same level as the eastern part of 7377.
