The full extent of the wall was revealed during the 2018 season. The western side of wall 8199 in room I-18 has two rows of holes similar to wall 8119. There is a row that is the same height as the top of the stairs (SU 8246) and the holes in abutting wall 8133. The second row of four holes were at the bottom of the wall, just above the decorative socle with inlaid marble (SU 8388). These holes were likely used to for some type of wooden or stone revetment on the walls that has now been robbed out.
Concrete wall of petit appareil between rooms I-10 and I-18 in the northwest corner of the building. A staircase (8246) abuts this wall. A threshold likely separates this wall from 8200. The eastern facade is lined with opus signinum (8256), suggests that room I-18 held water or was designed to deflect moisture.
