This is a fill of a robbery trench (SU 2242) that robbed the basalt wall SU 2240. To the west, the northern limit of the fill/cut was more clearly visible (where floor was still preserved), while to the east the limits of the fill were less clear and the fill seemed to be more homogeneous with the layer immediately to the north (SU 2243). A particularly large quantity of roof tiles was found in the fill. At the time of initial excavation, the bulk to south and east had not yet been extended, so those limits were uncertain. After the extension of excavation limit, the limits of the cut and fill were still uncertain.
