This is the cut which robbed out the basalt wall SU 2240. Small sections of the wall were left behind, but large sections were irregularly taken out. The western half appears to be more intact than further east. There is also a northern floor limit there, whereas to the east the northern limit is unclear. Large amounts of roof tile are also there, but it is unclear whether they were left behind during the cut, or added in the later fill.
