The rough abutment of 2274 indicates that this floor surface post-dates the wall. The level and location of 2273 may indicate a onetime contignuity with SU 2272, but the processes by which the intervening floor was removed are uncertain. The poor state of preservation of this surface makes it difficult to state conclusively its relation to nearby units. Upon excavation, we came down on a compact surface beneath (2325) which seems similar for both the irregularly shaped patches. Consequently, these two patches have been assigned a new SU (2325) despite the difference in the middle
