This SU was originally partially excavated. The fill was identified due to its dark color after cleaning the surface, and it was realized that the cut extended approximately 10 meters to the south. A new SU sheet (this one) was started. This SU spans the drainage trench (SU 2206) in the form of SU 2211. It also cuts the floors of SU 2202 and SU 2213. The channel function is still unknown but it is possibly modern. Material in the fill gave no indication of the cut function. During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as a spoliation cut.
