During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as either an abandonment deposit or leveling deposit sitting between the Phase 1B and 2 buildings. Because of the compressed stratigraphy between the two phases, it is not possible to isolate a single function for this deposit.

2015-07-26 J Troy Samuels

The SU is a cleaning layer, removing the colluvium from the intervening years between 2011 and 2015.

2015-07-24 Courtney Asman

The SU is a brown colluvial deposit left over from the 2011 excavation.
