Interpretations

Interpretations
2020-06-15 BrittanyProffitt

During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as either an abandonment deposit or leveling deposit sitting between the Phase 1B and 2 buildings. Because of the compressed stratigraphy between the two phases, it is not possible to isolate a single function for this deposit.

2015-07-26 J Troy Samuels

The deposit is related to either floor leveling for the later floor surfaces or the destruction phases of the earlier building in Area C (or both).

2015-07-21 Dylan Davis

The SU is colluvial activity, possible filling.
