This wall represents the eastern stretch of the northern limit of the secondary courtyard, and the southern limit of part of Room 16. When the space of the courtyard to the south was reorganized, it became the northern limit of the small production room (Room 17), associated with the later opus mixtum walls. It is continued to the west by the step threshold at the northern limit of the secondary courtyard (5740), and by the furthest stretch of the ashlar wall (5741) which abuts the western wall of the complex (5549). To the east, at the northern limit of the slab floor of the central courtyard (5550) this wall seems to have been robbed up to the threshold of Room 6/16 (robbery cut 5775).
