SU 8309 represents accumulated dumping activities in Room I-21 after abandonment of the building. While some of the building material inclusions may represent collapse of the surrounding walls, the nature of the majority of the finds suggests that dumping activity was the primary formation process. Several of the large opus signinum chunks found as inclusions have a raised edge, suggesting perhaps that they represent a destroyed and discarded basin.
