The SU is a layer of natural accumulation. A thin silt layer covers 1-2 un-worked basalt walls on the west side. The layer decreases towards the east. Due to the thinness of the layer and the mixed chronology of the inclusions, the part of the layer east of the basalt wall seems to be accumulation dating after the 2010 season. We cleaned down to a more compact level that seems to overlay a more crumbly red layer which extends under the floor of the house and up to the road in the east. All metal finds and special find Δ313 were found next to the basalt walls on the west side. A small cut exists parallel to the basalt wall. During post-excavation study, this feature was reinterpreted as an accumulation layer marking the abandonment of the area.
