This appears to be a floor prep surface made of white mortar with some small stone inclusions in the center of G-1. This floor prep layer likely once extended the full length of room G-1. The floor prep layer extends from wall 6099 to the road curb SU 7020, and it cements into place parts of the basalt stones in SU 7020. The possible pier (composed of SUs 6125,6124,6123) for a column in this hypothesized portico area as well as SU 6168 were all cemented into position by SU 6121, suggesting the floor prep layer was either in phase with or slightly later than the construction of these features in this area of G-1. The cut in the southern portion of SU 6121 just north of block SU 6123 appears to have been made during more recent excavations by the SAR, perhaps to better see stratigraphic relationships between the different floor prep levels.
