This appears to be a threshold leading between room I5 and a space to the west, currently under the bulk. There appears to be a mortar level right on top of it in section, under the bulk. This might be a floor surface. In room I5 it probably lead to a floor level that no longer exists, either robbed out or degraded. In 2018, this western area was further investigated by the excavation of room I-19. similarly there was no floor discovered in room I-19. however the leveling layer 8331 was discovered which was likely the preparation for this robbed floor.
